Step 1: Download and Install MetaTrader 4
- Visit the TMGM website from your Desktop.
- Go to the 'Platforms' section, and select 'MetaTrader 4'.
- Click on the 'Download' button to start the download process.
- Once the download is complete, locate the file in your downloads folder and double-click on it to begin the installation process.
- Follow the prompts to install MT4 on your Desktop.
Step 2: Open a Trading Account
Follow the instructions below:
- Open MetaTrader 4 on your Desktop.
- Navigate to 'File' on the top left corner, then click on 'Open an Account'.
- Fill in your personal information and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click 'Next' and choose the 'TradeMaxGlobal-Demo' or 'TradeMaxGlobal' server, depending on your preference.
- You will receive your login details. Keep them safe, as you'll need them each time you log into MT4.
Step 3: Logging into your Account
- Open MetaTrader 4 on your Desktop.
- Click on 'File', then select 'Login to Trade Account'.
- Enter your login details (the ones you received in the previous step).
- Make sure the correct server (TradeMaxGlobal-Demo or TradeMaxGlobal) is selected.
- Click 'OK'. You are now logged into your account.
Step 4: Navigate the MT4 Interface
The MT4 interface is divided into several key areas:
- Market Watch: Here, you'll see a list of available financial instruments. You can right-click within this window to place an order, open a chart, or view the specification of an instrument.
- Navigator: This section displays your account information and provides access to indicators, scripts, and Expert Advisors.
- Chart Window: This is where you'll see real-time price charts of the financial instruments.
- Terminal: At the bottom, this section displays your trading history, open positions, and account balance.
Step 5: Placing a Trade
- Select the instrument you wish to trade from the 'Market Watch' window.
- Right-click on it and select 'New Order'.
- In the 'New Order' window, select the 'Type' of order (Market Execution or Pending Order).
- Enter the 'Volume' (size of your trade).
- If desired, set the 'Stop Loss' and 'Take Profit' levels.
- Click on 'Buy' or 'Sell' to place your trade.
