UBS raised its price target for Coca-Cola shares from $104 to $106 and maintained a Buy rating following the company’s quarterly results. Coca-Cola delivered organic sales growth of 7%, beating market expectations by 259 basis points, while stronger margin performance drove an earnings-per-share beat. The company raised its fiscal 2026 organic sales growth outlook above its previous range and increased its adjusted earnings-per-share guidance.
UBS acknowledged that 2027 could prove more challenging due to tougher unit case volume comparisons, currency and structural headwinds, and mounting inflationary pressures. However, the bank believes Coca-Cola has the ability to deliver net income growth—something many companies in the sector lack. Although its valuation appears expensive, a premium to historical levels is justified by the high visibility of Coca-Cola’s revenue and earnings, alongside market confidence in the sustainability of its long-term organic sales growth model.

Coca-Cola reported better-than-expected third-quarter 2026 results, with adjusted earnings per share of $0.91 and revenue of $13.4 billion, exceeding Wall Street expectations. Organic revenue grew 7%, unit case volume increased 5%, and both gross and operating margins improved.
Several financial institutions responded positively. Morgan Stanley raised its price target to $103, citing Coca-Cola’s strong pricing power and sustained organic sales growth. TD Cowen increased its price target to $104, highlighting the company’s solid third-quarter performance, including 11% growth in comparable earnings per share. Wells Fargo also raised its price target to $100, recognizing Coca-Cola’s strong performance across multiple metrics throughout the year, with unit case volume growth of approximately 4.5%.
The company said demand remained resilient across regions and that it had gained global value share for 22 consecutive quarters. Management highlighted balanced growth across volume, pricing and product mix, supported by both affordable offerings and premium products. These developments demonstrate the broad strengths of Coca-Cola’s global system, despite differences in consumer demand across regions.
Market Insight:
Overall, although the global operating environment remains uneven, investors are encouraged by the momentum in Coca-Cola’s business and believe the company can generate greater returns from more markets and more brands. Progress across the Coca-Cola system has strengthened investor confidence.
